Prices & Terms of payment
Prices include: organisation, supervision, first-aid kit and warning equipment (radio, telephone).
They do not include (unless otherwise stated): accommodation and meals (including those of the guide), equipment hire (snowshoes, avalanche transceivers, shovels, probes, poles, rucksacks), transport, personal expenses.
Terms of payment : Payment on receipt - 7 days, including the time taken to receive the invoice.
Responsibilities
Operating in a natural environment involves objective risks.
Supervision by a professional does not eliminate these risks. The client must undertake to follow the instructions. Each participant must comply with the safety instructions given by the guide.
The guide cannot be held responsible for individual carelessness or negligence regarding equipment, physical preparation, resistance to bad weather, health problems or physical weaknesses of the participant during the activities.
The guide cannot be held responsible for any damage to equipment or materials of any participant during the tour.
The guide is responsible for the safety of the group, choice of location, itinerary, entertainment and commentary.
The guide will adapt the pace of the walk/run and anticipate the difficulty of the activity to suit the group and the ability of each participant.
The guide is not responsible for the late arrival of participants at the agreed meeting point or for the late arrival of the group due to unforeseen circumstances during the activity or the journey by private car.
The guide is not responsible for conditions outside the activity, such as weather, traffic, water, firewood, the presence of animals, etc.
To ensure the safety of the group, the activity leader reserves the right to change the location and itinerary of the activity at the last minute or during the day.
The organiser cannot be held responsible for participants travelling in their own cars, or for any accidents that may occur on the way to or from the activity, or where the vehicle is parked during the activity.
Minors and children may only participate with parental consent.
Cancellation policy
Modification by the mountain leader :
During the trek, the weather, snow conditions, terrain conditions, physical ability of the participants or failure of the equipment used may lead to a change in the itinerary and the guide reserves the right to make such a decision. Under no circumstances will these changes give rise to any refund or compensation.
If the weather, snow or terrain conditions are not favourable for the trek to take place as originally planned, the guide will propose one or more alternatives (alternative route or date) before the trek. If no alternative date or route is possible, the guide will refund 70% of the deposit paid. If a change of date is not possible, the guide will refund the full amount.
The guide also reserves the right to ask a participant to discontinue the tour if their technical level or physical condition endangers the safety of the group. In this case there will be no refund or compensation as the full price of the service is payable.
Cancellation by the mountain leader :
In the event of adverse snow/weather/terrain conditions during the trek forcing us to turn back, the price of the trek remains payable.
In the event of a medical emergency on the part of the guide :
Full refund before the walk.
During the trek, the cost is payable up to the day the trek ends
Due to failure on your part, the full amount will be due
Cancellation by the participant :
More than 21 days before the event : full refund.
Between 21 days and 5 days before the start of the event : half the price will be withheld.
Within 5 days of the start of the event : the full cost of the event will be charged.
The full amount will only be refunded on presentation of a medical certificate stating that the participant is unfit to participate in the activity on the dates booked.
